InsurTech LIVE: Meet Marsh SVP of FINPRO Alex Phillips

Among them is Alex Phillips, Senior Vice President of FINPRO for Marsh. We take a look at Phillips’ career to date and his road to becoming SVP at Marsh.
Alex Phillips, SVP of FINPRO, Marsh
Taking his first steps in insurance under a short-term contract with Zurich Insurance in 2003, Phillips took his first full-time role at Howden Insurance Brokers as a Business Developer, from 2003 to 2006.
Time spent at Dual Corporate Risks followed, sandwiched between two stints at FirstCity Partnership and an Associate Partner.
Then, in 2010, Phillips went on to take the role of Divisional Director at Arthur J Gallagher & Co., where he spent four years.
He continued in this role in his next post at Willis Towers Watson, before landing the role at Marsh in 2020 as SVP of FINPRO.
