InsurTech LIVE: Meet Marsh Vice President Rupert Poland

Among them is Rupert Poland, Vice President of leading insurance broker and risk advisor Marsh. We look back over Poland’s career, and how his successes have taken him to the Vice Presidency position at Marsh.
Rupert Poland, Vice President, Marsh
A graduate in biological sciences from the University of Exeter, Poland had early experience at MS Amlin, shadowing a senior underwriter at Lloyd’s of London.
From there, we entered Marsh’s Graduate Development Programme in 2019, taking up the role of Insurance Broker for Financial Institutions, which he held for three years.
Then, in 2021, Poland was promoted to Assitant Vice President, before taking up the position as Vice President 11 months later.
A specialist in financial lines today, Poland is one of Marsh’s leading client executives, as well as a member of its Global Digital Asset Risk Transfer team.
