Insurance software provider Fadata has integrated Eclipse Group's customer communication management (CCM) platform into its INSIS core system.

Fadata provides insurers with cutting-edge technology, prioritising innovation to meet both current and future business needs and offering access to a range of specialised solutions from expert third-party partners, seamlessly integrated within its cloud-enabled SaaS platform.

Providing the INSIS insurance platform to carriers in 30 countries, Fadata will offer Eclipse's CCM platform through its technology ecosystem, enabling insurers to create and manage customer communications through a centralised cloud system.

Digital transformation

The integration allows insurers using INSIS to generate document templates and manage communication workflows, including email distribution and document attachment. Eclipse's platform, which has been developed since 2019, delivers communications through channels including certified email, WhatsApp, SMS and digital mailboxes.

Stijn Giesberts, CEO at Eclipse Group

“Our CCM platform is designed to allow insurers to design, manage, and deliver high-volume, on-demand personalised communications from a centralised cloud-based platform,” says Stijn Giesberts, CEO at Eclipse. “We are empowering insurers to react with rapid responses to changing market demands.”

The platform enables insurers to move from analogue and physical communication methods to a digital approach where customer communication is integrated into a single platform. This spans from template design through to scenario management and output channels.

Integration capabilities

Eclipse’s platform integrates with enterprise resource planning systems and customer relationship management platforms including SAP and Salesforce. The partnership with Fadata marks an expansion into core insurance systems.

The integration allows insurers to standardise communication processes while maintaining personalisation capabilities, according to Neyko Bratoev, Head of Fadata Ecosystem.

“Our partnership with Eclipse Group strengthens the Fadata Ecosystem by bringing seamless, omnichannel communication capabilities directly to insurers,” says Neyko. “This collaboration enables insurers to transform customer interactions with personalised and efficient communication across every channel. Integrating Eclipse's CCM solution with INSIS not only elevates the customer experience but also aligns with our mission to provide scalable, compliance-ready solutions that simplify operational processes.”

Technology ecosystem

Fadata, which is backed by private equity firms Riverside and Lowell Minnick, operates from headquarters in Munich with offices in Spain, Bulgaria, Denmark, Serbia, Peru and Malaysia. The company delivers INSIS through a software-as-a-service model, which allows insurers to access the platform through cloud technology.

Fadata-Eclipse Integration: Key features
  • Document template generation
  • Email distribution management
  • Automated document attachment
  • Multi-channel communication delivery including WhatsApp, SMS
  • Cloud-based platform access

Eclipse developed its CCM platform as a multi-tenant system, which enables multiple insurers to use the platform while maintaining data separation. The platform operates as a hosted managed service, which means Eclipse maintains the technology infrastructure.

The integration is part of Fadata's ecosystem strategy, which aims to connect complementary technology providers to its INSIS platform. This approach enables insurers to access additional functionality through pre-built integrations rather than developing connections independently.

Communication channels

The initial integration focuses on document generation and email communication, with the capability to add further features from Eclipse's platform. The system enables insurers to reduce manual processing while maintaining control over customer communications through a single platform.

“We look forward to delivering Fadata clients enhanced customer engagement with consistent, speedier and more accurate responses and helping them to become more efficient with communications so that they can reduce manual processing,” says Stijn.
