Allianz Trade hires new UK & Ireland Commercial Director

Allianz Trade has announced the hire of industry veteran Steve Stennett as its new Commercial Director for UK and Ireland

According to reports, Stennett is a trade credit insurance expert with more than 16 years of experience. He spent time at Coface and was formerly employed by Atradius as a senior account manager.

Speaking about his new role, Stennett spoke about new plans being rolled out over the next two years. He said: “With our Go 2025 strategic plan, we have a clear vision ahead. This is reflected in our excellent results for 2022.

“I’m excited to be working with a very experienced and talented management team [at Allianz Trade UK & Ireland] and to get to know all my colleagues across the Allianz Trade and wider Allianz businesses.”

Credit insurer Allianz Trade also cited Stennett’s proven strong commercial capability, saying the organisation is; “thrilled” to have the Institute of Credit Management and Institute of Export member onboard.
