Three key recruits for UK insurance broker H&H

Insurance broker H&H has announced three key new hires as the company makes good on its intention to expand and invest in the future

UK-based insurance broker H&H Insurance Brokers (HHIB) has made three key appointments as part of ongoing expansion plans.

The company says the appointment of Craig Dickson, Mary Ballard and David Murchie “signals an investment in the future through strengthening its presence across its regional bases and bringing further expertise into the business”.

Dickson and Murchie are joining the business as Account Executives while Ballard will work in business development and will train to become an Account Executive in future.

Of his new role, Dickson, who brings several years of experience with him including past positions working for a regional broker and for NFU Mutual, says: “The whole ethos behind account executives at HHIB being trusted advisors for their clients is something which really resonated with me. It’s all about building trust and making sure you look after your clients so they can have peace of mind when it comes to insurance.”

A good team ‘vital’ for H&H Insurance Brokers

Murchie also has prior experience at NFU Mutual, from where he joins HHIB. He previously specialised in agricultural and commercial insurance lines. “Having grown up on a farm, agriculture has always been a part of my life and joining HHIB really feels like I am going back to my roots. I’m delighted to be part of the team and to continue to deliver a brilliant service for clients,” Murchie says.

Paul Graham, Managing Director of HHIB, continues: “Having the right team in place is vital to our commitment to continually moving the business forward and building on our success. The depth and breadth of experience which Craig, David and Mary bring to the team is fantastic and we’re delighted that they are now part of the HHIB story.”

The three new hires come on the back of an impressive year for HHIB. The most recent annual results from its holding company, H&H Group, show the business continued to invest in people and geographical expansion, building more success on solid foundations.
