ICEYE Secures US$93m to Expand Satellite Imaging Prospects
ICEYE, a leading provider of satellite imaging solutions, has successfully closed a significant US$93m growth funding round. The round was led by Finnish sovereign wealth fund Solidium Oy, with participation from Move Capital Fund I, Blackwells Capital, and Christo Georgiev.
The investment will empower ICEYE to further expand its satellite constellation and enhance its capabilities in delivering reliable and timely Earth observation data. With this substantial backing, ICEYE is set to advance its mission of improving access to critical satellite information globally.
ICEYE's innovative synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) technology enables it to capture high-resolution images regardless of weather conditions or time of day, providing valuable insights for a range of applications, including environmental monitoring, maritime surveillance, and infrastructure management.
