Clearwater Analytics partners with Pool Re to enhance Pool Re's investment management capabilities and ensure better risk management and compliance

Clearwater Analytics, a leading worldwide provider of SaaS-based investment management, accounting, reporting, and analytics solutions, has announced that Pool Re, Britain’s government-backed terrorism reinsurer with funds of £7.0bn, will transition from using a custodian-based model to Clearwater’s market-leading investment accounting and reporting platform.

Clearwater Analytics is known for its automated investment accounting and comprehensive reporting solutions. Established in 2004 and headquartered in Boise, Idaho, Clearwater serves a diverse clientele including insurance companies, asset managers, corporations, banks, and governments. The company has additional offices in London, Edinburgh, New York City, and Noida, India​.

Pool Re is looking to leverage Clearwater’s platform to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of its investment accounting and reporting processes. This transition marks a significant shift for Pool Re, in a move towards improved data transparency and accessibility through Clearwater’s market-leading technology.

Clearwater’s platform offers numerous benefits, including automated portfolio accounting, daily compliance monitoring, performance tracking, and risk analytics. These features are designed to meet the complex needs of institutional investors and provide them with real-time insights and reporting capabilities. Pool Re's move reflects a trend among institutional investors towards adopting advanced SaaS solutions to improve their operational capabilities and investment management efficiency.

The collaboration is expected to set a benchmark in the industry for leveraging technology to manage large-scale investment portfolios effectively
