How is Sixfold Fuelling Digital Transformation in Insurance?

Sixfold, the underwriting AI solution trusted by global MGAs, carriers and reinsurers, has announced a strategic partnership with INFORCE, a systems integration firm specialising in digital transformation for the insurance industry.
The collaboration will see INFORCE integrate Sixfoldâs AI solution into its suite of services to help insurers drive greater automation, underwriter efficiency and decision accuracy across underwriting workflows.
Sixfoldâs AI has been built for insurance underwriting since inception. By ingesting insurer-specific guidelines, the technology delivers appetite-aligned recommendations, prioritises the right submissions and powers AI agents that move submissions forward autonomously.
This allows underwriters to focus on strategy and portfolio performance rather than manual tasks.
Delivering tangible outcomes
The platform integrates with existing underwriting tools to accelerate adoption and time-to-value for firms. To date, global insurers including AXIS, Zurich and Generali GC&C use Sixfold, which has processed more than 1 million submissions across more than 40 lines of business.
“As insurers continue to modernise their core operations, underwriting remains a fundamental area where technology can deliver meaningful productivity and competitive advantages,” says Brian MacKenzie, President and CEO of INFORCE.
Brian adds: “This partnership with Sixfold combines INFORCE’s deep integration expertise with Sixfold’s AI, built specifically for underwriting, enabling our clients to scale their underwriting capabilities without re-architecting systems. It’s about delivering tangible outcomes, such as faster time-to-quote, improved risk consistency and less manual work for underwriters.”
Strengthening the ecosystem
By partnering with a systems integrator that understands the insurance ecosystem, Sixfold aims to drive impact more rapidly across the sector. The focus remains on reducing manual workloads and increasing the quality of quotes provided to the market.
The collaboration begins with a series of joint implementation engagements and solution offerings tailored for property & casualty, specialty, and life & health insurers.
INFORCE’s professional services teams will support insurers from initial planning and integration through to rollout and optimisation. This process ensures that Sixfold’s AI capabilities are aligned with the strategic goals and specific underwriting workflows of each insurer.
Roger Ferrandis, Head of Partnerships at Sixfold notes: “INFORCE has a long history of helping insurers modernise their technology stack in meaningful ways.
“Partnering with a systems integrator that truly understands the insurance ecosystem means we can drive impact, faster. Together, we’ll help insurers reduce manual work, increase quality quotes and strengthen broker and client relationships while improving underwriting results.”
Another page in Sixfoldâs handbook
Sixfold recently secured US$30m in a Series B funding round led by Brewer Lane Ventures, with strategic backing from Guidewire and participation from existing investors like Salesforce Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners.
This latest injection of capital is specifically targeted at advancing the companyâs AI Underwriter platform, which utilises generative AI and autonomous agents to manage end-to-end underwriting workflows.
The funding is being used to expand Sixfoldâs research and engineering teams to deepen its agentic AI capabilities, improve portfolio visibility, and integrate more extensive third-party datasets.
By automating the grunt work of risk analysis â such as synthesising 70-page submissions or identifying medical discrepancies â the technology allows underwriters to shift their focus from manual data entry to high-level strategy and appetite refinement.
To date, the platform has processed over one million submissions across 40 lines of business, serving major global carriers including Zurich North America, AXIS, and Generali.
