wefox appointed affinity insurance partner of Wind Tre

Leading insurtech wefox is now an affinity insurance partner of Italian telecoms company Wind Tre, following the latter’s launch of an insurance segment

World-leading insurtech wefox has been appointed the affinity insurance partner of Wind Tre, a leading telecommunications business in Italy. 

The partnership comes after Wind Tre launched its own insurance agency, Wind Tre Assicurazioni, providing insurance offerings directly to its customers. 

wefox: Striking partnerships

Per the partnership, wefox will provide Wind Tre with a range of services including its modular technology platform, enabling WINDTRE customers to activate insurance products in-store and online. 

Upon launching wefox’s services, Wind Tre customers will get immediate access to home and travel insurance products, with more set to be launched in the future. 

Insurance carriers immediately involved in this multi-product, multi-insurer proposition include AXA Partners Italia and Net Insurance. 

The initial partnership agreement between wefox and Wind Tre is set to last 10 years, with further scope for this to be extended in the future.
