Sprout.ai, the leading claims automation platform for insurers, has appointed Ian Thompson to its newly formed growth advisory board. The appointment, announced on 15 October 2024, marks a significant step in Sprout.ai's mission to drive innovation in insurance claims processing.
Ian brings three decades of insurance industry experience, including over 20 years in senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Group Chief Claims Officer at Zurich Insurance, where he oversaw a global team of 8,500 people managing 7.5 million claims annually across 200 territories. His previous roles include Regional Chief Claims Officer for Zurich's Europe, Middle East, and Africa operations, as well as strategic transformation positions at RSA.
In his advisory role, Ian will help shape Sprout.ai's product strategy and market approach, leveraging his extensive experience in AI implementation, digitalisation, and data innovation from his tenure at Zurich. His expertise in customer proposition development will be particularly valuable as Sprout.ai continues to enhance its insurance claims automation solutions.
