Allianz Partners Launches Allyz Travel Companion App

Allianz Partners handle over 72.5 million cases each year
Today's travellers want more than just the financial protection that insurance provides, says Tomas Kunzmann, CEO of Allianz Partners

In an important milestone in the expansion of Allianz Partners' digital platform, allyz, has been launched as a mobile app. As well as access to the full suite of insurance benefits available to customers, the app provides travellers with trusted advice and expertise in an effort to provide a rounded, holistic experience and piece of mind for the end-user.

Originally introduced as a web app in 2020, the platform provides users with pre-travel advice and inspiration, storage for all travel documents and access information on local services whilst travelling.

Meet Allianz Partners CEO, Tomas Kunzmann

Tomas Kunzmann was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Partners in 2022, having spent nearly two years as CEO of the Mobility and Assistance business and member of Allianz Partners’ Board of Management. He joined the Allianz Group in 2009 and held various positions at Allianz Private Krankenversicherung (APKV), including the Head of Health Underwriting.

In 2013, he joined Allianz’ German sales organisation (ABV) as Sales Manager before heading up the Regional Branch Offices in Ingolstadt and then Kempten. In 2017, Tomas joined Allianz SE as Executive Assistant to the CEO and then held the role of Interim Head of the CEO Office.
